GTA 5: What's New In GTA Online For PS4, Xbox One, And PC This Week

Another new mode and vehicle are now available in GTA Online.

Rockstar has introduced another new batch of content to Grand Theft Auto V. It's the third week of the Southern San Andreas Super Sports Series, and this time players can find another new vehicle, racing mode, and assortment of discounts in GTA Online.
Headlining this week's update is Target Assault Races, the second new race type Rockstar has introduced since the start of the Southern San Andreas Super Sports Series. This mode pits teams of two against each other in a high score competition. One player drives the vehicle around a race track while the other shoots at targets using a mounted gun, with the two switching roles after every lap.
Target Assault Races features seven different tracks and "an assortment of assault-minded vehicles" to choose from. To celebrate its launch, players will earn double GTA$ and RP from the mode until next week.
Coinciding with the release of Target Assault Races, Rockstar has added another new vehicle to GTA Online: the Vapid Caracara. This heavy-duty truck is now available for purchase from Warstock Cache & Carry. You can take a look at a screenshot of it below.

If your personal arsenal is a little lacking, you can pick up an assortment of assault vehicles at a discount this week, such as the Mammoth Avenger and Karin Technical. Vehicle upgrades are also on sale this week, including ones for the aforementioned Mammoth Avenger, making this a good time to add one to your fleet if you haven't yet. You can find the full list of this week's discounts below.
This week's Premium Race is Lift Off. As always, everyone who participates in the race will earn triple RP, while the players who finish in the top three will take home a big GTA$ payout. The Time Trial this week is Observatory. Everyone who beats the target time will be rewarded with GTA$ and RP.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Review - Laying The Foundation

Fortnite: Battle Royale Review - Laying The Foundation For a game that was long in development as a cooperative horde-based shooter, the conspicuous and relatively quick addition of battle royale to Fortnite seemed to be a move to capitalize on a trend. However, its seemingly simple building system and loose shooting mechanics not only set it apart from other games built on the same premise, but work extremely well to make a uniquely chaotic and surprisingly deep deathmatch experience. Everything about Fortnite's presentation emits a lighthearted tone. You start a match by jumping out of a party bus held up by balloons that flies across the game's massive map. Weapons, ammo, and health items litter its silly-named cities, all using alliteration--Tomato Town, Moisty Mire, Tilted Towers, to name a few. Even enemies don't really die; they're teleported away after getting knocked out. Valuable loot is found inside pinatas called supply llamas, for crying out loud. P...
