More Battlefield 2018 Details Emerge Are you ready for more Battlefield? After a leak last week claimed the new Battlefield will be set in World War II, a new report has now seemingly brought more details to light on the upcoming shooter. GamesBeat originally leaked Battlefield V--as the game is rumored to be titled--and it has now followed up with more information about the game's campaign and mechanics. Firstly, the site claims Battlefield V's single-player mode will include a number of different stories packed into one overarching campaign. Battlefield 1 had a similar system of having you control a number of different protagonists to gain different perspectives on the war, and this is something DICE apparently wants to do again with the second World War. It's also important to note that GamesBeat says the title "Battlefield V" may simply be a placeholder, and that it was also used for Battlefield 1 when that game was in development. New Final Fantasy 15 DLC Episodes Revealed Final Fantasy XV will continue to expand next year. Square Enix had previously teased that Final Fantasy XV would continue to expand with new DLC episodes this year. We've now learned what the company has in mind for those additions, but they're unfortunately not coming as soon as expected. A total of four more episodes are on the way, though these won't arrive until sometime in 2019. The news was shared during a panel at PAX East. Like past episodes, each one will center around a specific character: Ardyn, Aranea, Luna, and Noctis. The last one is the most notable of the bunch, as it will explore the story of his "final battle." Fortnite: Battle Royale Review - Laying The Foundation For a game that was long in development as a cooperative horde-based shooter, the conspicuous and relatively quick addition of battle royale to Fortnite seemed to be a move to capitalize on a trend. However, its seemingly simple building system and loose shooting mechanics not only set it apart from other games built on the same premise, but work extremely well to make a uniquely chaotic and surprisingly deep deathmatch experience. Everything about Fortnite's presentation emits a lighthearted tone. You start a match by jumping out of a party bus held up by balloons that flies across the game's massive map. Assassin's Creed Origins DLC The Curse Of The Pharaohs Out Now On PS4, Xbox One, And PC The final expansion for Origins is almost here. Following a slight delay, the second and final DLC expansion for  Assassin's Creed Origins  is finally here. The Curse of the Pharaohs has launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, introducing a new story, environments, and other content to the stealth-action game. Unlike Origins' previous DLC expansion, The Curse of the Pharaohs features a brand-new storyline that's set four years after the events of the main game. PUBG Adds Respawns In New War Mode On PC War never changes. Unless the host changes the game's settings. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds  has very quietly added a new mode called War on  PC . The new mode--which is essentially Team Deathmatch--adds respawns, a mechanic not seen in PUBG's standard battle royale mode. Players are condensed into a small, static area on Erangel, meaning lives don't last long. The selection of weapons and gear depends on the settings picked by the game's host, so you could spawn with any number of items. War mode is available now but only as a custom game, meaning only PUBG Partners can start and host matches--though anyone can join an already-created session. The mode was not announced by developer PUBG Corp. or publisher Bluehole, with no mention of it anywhere on social media or on the game's forums.
